Q: Where do I get change from?
A: Currently we hold change at the Vape shop next door when the Launderette is not staffed.
Q: Are you going to get a change machine?
A: Yes, we are planning to have a change machine installed in the not-too-distant future.
Q: Do you take card payments?
A: We are cash only at this time, however we can take card payments during staffed hours.
Q: Do you have any staff?
A: Essentially we are a self service launderette. However, there is normally a staff member in 2-4 days a week. Please check the "Staffed Hours" on the home page.
Q: Why do I still have half a washing tablet in my clothes after the wash has finished?
A: Overloading the washing machine will cause the laundry to move around in one large mass, which means the clothing items will not be able to move freely within the drum and the detergent will not be able to circulate effectively to remove dirt and stains.
Q: Why are my clothes still wet after using the dryer?
A: Overloading the dryer, or not enough drying time. Please spin clothes before putting in the dryer. Dripping wet clothes can trip the circuit to protect itself.
